EWP Yellow Card

Competency-based certification for operating elevated work platforms up to 11m platform height.

What is the EWP Yellow Card?

The EWP Yellow Card is an industry-recognised competency card that certifies an operator's ability to safely use elevated work platforms. It is issued by the Elevated Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA).

Yellow Card covers four EWP categories: SL (Scissor Lifts), BL (Boom Lifts under 11m platform height), VL (Vertical Lifts), and TL (Trailer-mounted Boom Lifts).

Many construction sites and hire yards require operators to hold a current Yellow Card before operating EWPs, regardless of whether a high-risk work licence is needed.
